The Prohair tablets are a dietary supplement designed to maintain shiny and strong hair, healthy skin, and nails!
Busy schedules, stress, pregnancy and childbirth, menopause, medication use, or seasonal changes can all impact healthy hair growth. Anaesthesia and the body’s shock reaction following major surgery, such as bariatric surgery, can also lead to (acute) hair loss. In these situations, you can rely on Prohair. Positive effects of Prohair tablets:
- Biotin (B8), selenium, and zinc are good for the hair and contribute to normal hair growth. They also support hair condition and keep it strong and shiny.
- Selenium and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal nails.
- Copper contributes to normal pigmentation of the hair and skin. It also helps maintain the skin’s connective tissue. Manganese aids in the normal formation of connective tissue.
- Copper, manganese, selenium, vitamin B2, vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc protect skin and hair cells from oxidative damage caused by UV radiation and air pollution.

Recommended dosage
Take 1 Prohair tablet per day for at least 3 months for optimal support. Swallow the Prohair tablet with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
When determining the composition of Prohair tablets, Elan carefully considered the combination with WLS/bariatric supplements (Compass, Believe, Supreme, and Balance products from Elan) to avoid overdosing on any particular vitamin and/or mineral. Prohair tablets can therefore be used with confidence in combination with Elan’s WLS/bariatric supplements if you have undergone bariatric surgery.

Recommended dosage
Take 1-4 servings of Elan Whey Protein (30 grams) per day as a supplement to your diet. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Consult your dietitian to determine how many grams of Whey Protein you need daily to optimally supplement your diet.
Intake Advice
Preferably take Whey Protein early in the morning, after physical activity, or before bed. Dissolve 1 scoop (70 cc | 30 grams) of Whey Protein in 200 ml of skimmed, semi-skimmed milk, or other types of milk (such as rice, soy, quinoa milk, etc.). You can also make your Whey Protein shake with 200 ml of water. For optimal results, mix your Whey Protein shake in a shaker or blender. You can also add your Whey Protein to your yogurt product, possibly with some fruit.
Filtration
Elan Whey Protein is produced using cross-flow microfiltration. Cross-flow microfiltration and ultra-micro filtration use the molecular weight of whey. Whey is heavier than lactose, and by using ceramic membranes, these two are separated. The whey is retained in the membranes, while the lactose and other unwanted components are not bound. An advantage of this method is that all the benefits of whey are retained, resulting in a very high protein percentage. A disadvantage is that this process is very costly.

Ferro Vital tablets
Iron is an important mineral for your body because iron helps release energy from other nutrients. This essential mineral is found in red meat, chicken, bread, and nuts. After your weight loss surgery, you may eat less of these foods, so it may be necessary to supplement your diet with extra iron. For this purpose, Ferro Vital tablets have been developed. We have also added extra copper to these tablets because copper aids in the transport of iron throughout your body.
Ferro Vital tablets are supplied free of charge with orders of Compass chewable tablets, Believe chewable tablets, and Supreme chewable tablets.
