Recommended dosage

Take 1-4 servings of Elan Whey Protein (30 grams) per day as a supplement to your diet. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Consult your dietitian to determine how many grams of Whey Protein you need daily to optimally supplement your diet.

Intake Advice

Preferably take Whey Protein early in the morning, after physical activity, or before bed. Dissolve 1 scoop (70 cc | 30 grams) of Whey Protein in 200 ml of skimmed, semi-skimmed milk, or other types of milk (such as rice, soy, quinoa milk, etc.). You can also make your Whey Protein shake with 200 ml of water. For optimal results, mix your Whey Protein shake in a shaker or blender. You can also add your Whey Protein to your yogurt product, possibly with some fruit.

Filtration

Elan Whey Protein is produced using cross-flow microfiltration. Cross-flow microfiltration and ultra-micro filtration use the molecular weight of whey. Whey is heavier than lactose, and by using ceramic membranes, these two are separated. The whey is retained in the membranes, while the lactose and other unwanted components are not bound. An advantage of this method is that all the benefits of whey are retained, resulting in a very high protein percentage. A disadvantage is that this process is very costly.

Recommended dosage

Take 1 Believe chewable tablet per day and 1 Ferro Vital iron tablet daily, preferably before or during your evening meal. The Believe chewable tablet with a fresh strawberry flavour can be taken at the same time as your Ferro Vital tablet. Ferro Vital iron tablets are supplied free with every order of Believe chewable tablets. Use only as advised by your healthcare provider. If you are taking medication, make sure to read the leaflets carefully. In case of overdose, consult your doctor.

If you accidentally forget to take your Believe chewable tablet and/or your Ferro Vital tablet one day, it is not a big issue as long as it doesn’t happen too often. Simply continue taking your Believe chewable tablets and/or Ferro Vital tablets as usual the next day, without needing to make up for the missed dose or take extra tablets.

Important

If you are also using Calcium Vital tablets or Calcium Chew chewable tablets, take them at a different time to the Believe chewable tablet and your Ferro Vital tablet. There should be at least 2 hours between taking the Calcium Vital or Calcium Chew tablets and your Believe chewable tablet and Ferro Vital tablet, to give your body enough time to absorb the iron properly.
