Ferro Vital tablets

Iron is an important mineral for your body because iron helps release energy from other nutrients. This essential mineral is found in red meat, chicken, bread, and nuts. After your weight loss surgery, you may eat less of these foods, so it may be necessary to supplement your diet with extra iron. For this purpose, Ferro Vital tablets have been developed. We have also added extra copper to these tablets because copper aids in the transport of iron throughout your body.

Ferro Vital tablets are supplied free of charge with orders of Compass chewable tablets, Believe chewable tablets, and Supreme chewable tablets.

Important

If you are also using Elan’s Calcium Vital tablets or Calcium Chew chewable tablets, take them at a different time from your Ferro Vital tablet. There should be at least 2 hours between taking the Calcium Vital tablet or Calcium Chew chewable tablet and your Ferro Vital tablet, to give your body enough time to properly absorb the iron.
