Believe tablets

The Believe tablets have been specially developed for individuals who have undergone a sleeve gastrectomy or gastric band surgery. During a sleeve gastrectomy, a large part of your stomach is removed, limiting the amount of food you can eat. Similarly, if you have a gastric band placed, your food intake will also be restricted. Bariatric surgery marks the beginning of a new life and a step towards a healthier lifestyle.

After undergoing a sleeve gastrectomy or gastric band surgery, your body will not receive enough nutrients to maintain your energy levels without additional supplements. Recommended dosage

Take 1 Believe tablet per day, preferably before or during your evening meal. Use only as advised by your healthcare provider. If you are taking medication, make sure to read the package leaflets carefully. In case of overdose, consult your doctor.

If you accidentally forget to take your Believe tablet one day, it is not a big issue as long as it doesn’t happen too often. Simply continue taking your Believe tablets as usual the next day, without needing to make up for the missed dose or take an extra tablet.

Important

If you are also taking Calcium Vital tablets or Calcium Chew chewable tablets, take them at a different time from the Believe tablet. There should be at least 2 hours between taking the Calcium Vital or Calcium Chew tablets and your Believe tablet, to give your body enough time to properly absorb the iron.

Intake Advice

Preferably take Whey Protein early in the morning, after physical activity, or before bed. Dissolve 1 scoop (70 cc | 30 grams) of Whey Protein in 200 ml of skimmed, semi-skimmed milk, or other types of milk (such as rice, soy, quinoa milk, etc.). You can also make your Whey Protein shake with 200 ml of water. For optimal results, mix your Whey Protein shake in a shaker or blender. You can also add your Whey Protein to your yogurt product, possibly with some fruit.

Filtration

Elan Whey Protein is produced using cross-flow microfiltration. Cross-flow microfiltration and ultra-micro filtration use the molecular weight of whey. Whey is heavier than lactose, and by using ceramic membranes, these two are separated. The whey is retained in the membranes, while the lactose and other unwanted components are not bound. An advantage of this method is that all the benefits of whey are retained, resulting in a very high protein percentage. A disadvantage is that this process is very costly.
